WIP - SCENARIO


We are very satisfied with the initial results Cycles output.
The scenario was very well designed, contrasting the sharp shape of the hill/rock with the soft and round surrounding. And Cycles made that popup more, very soft, and for sure this is a good start, and a reference to guide us to better results, and this is the mood/lighting and soft surface that we will try to achieve!

UPDATE - 10-10-14

Working on storyboard, and expanding at same time frames that will be helpfull for the 2D animatic.
Later i will post the workflow from Beatboards to the 2D animatic.

CONCEPT ART - Moving Forward

Well, i finish producing the main design for the characters and scenario.
I decide to do all the concepts by hand on this phase, and then do the scanning (i dont own a scanner, so i scan on a computer at job running :( propretary software).

Softwares used today:
  • Gimp to make the images smaller for the blog and adjust the light using levels and auto white balance.
  • Inkscape to create the little vector logo stamp on the bottom right as signature and blog title header. 
  • All this softwares running on Arch Linux as my operating system choice.
After some "Trials and Errors"  this is the result:

  • 3D Moddelling: Anderson has already started modeling "Porku", nice topology, curves flowing smooth. For now he is working on Blender over Linux Mint.
